We have all enjoyed the beauty of wildflowers on a quaint country road, but the truth is that wildflowers can grow just about anywhere including your own yard.
Even a small patch of wildflowers can bring joy to your landscape, and help feed birds, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
This class will begin with a guided tour through our 2,000 square foot wildflower meadow. Attendees will learn how to choose an appropriate site, how to prepare the site, how and where to acquire wildflowers seeds, the best time to plant their seeds, pest management, and propagating wildflowers.
Please keep in mind, many of the birds that live at CARE have special needs, and funds raised through your participation in these classes help to support these wonderful birds.
Price is $25.00 per person Children under 12 are $12.00 each.
